U.S. Department of the Interior – Office of the Chief Information Officer Electronic FOIA Tracking System (EFTS)

EFTS enables the Department of the Interior FOIA personnel to track and report the progress of their FOIA requests in a centralized Web Application. EFTS helps them to respond to Congressional inquiries and provide annual FOIA reporting with improved quality and fewer man hours. A recent cost benefit analysis effort comparing EFTS to other COTS products available on the market found that EFTS was a competitive and cost-effective solution.

U.S. Department of the Interior – Environmental and Disposal Liability Reporting System (EDL)

EDL is an integral element of the Department’s Environmental Management System used to manage Environmental and Disposal Liabilities for all Departments of the Interior bureaus. The System has robust reporting and analysis capabilities and was designed to electronically initiate quarterly data calls to collect information to meet annual financial and environmental reporting requirements.

U.S. Department of the Interior – Headquarters Visitor Parking System

 The Visitor Parking System enables the NBC Facilities Management team to electronically process and approve requests for parking at the locations in and around the Department of the Interior buildings. Once requests are approved, the system allows its users to print parking permits. The system also maintains an electronic log and provides reporting tools to analyze past requests.

NBC Customer Agreements System (CAS)

The Automated Customer Agreement application is a se-cure Internet-based suite of modules developed by the National Business Center (NBC) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the NBC customer agreement process. Automated Customer Agreement Application Features are: secure persistent session management using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and User Authentication; electronic user registration; automatic generation of agreement number; customer agreement search capability; web-enabled customer agreement; statement of work and route list preparation with data validation to ensure data integrity; route for approval with email notification; audit trail and status reports; on-line help utility; integration with the NBC financial system.

U.S. Department of the Interior – OLESEM Watch Office Services System

This Web Application provides a secure and centralized repository for the Department of the Interior Emergency Contact Lists that allows users to easily manage these records. The System also provides online training opportunities to accommodate staff in a variety of remote locations throughout the country.

NBC Appraisal Request & Review Tracking System (ARRTS)

The Appraisal Request & Review Tracking System (ARRTS) was developed to provide a common submission process for appraisal requests to the appraisal organization within the National Business Center. In addition, it provides a process for forwarding the request for approval and assignment, and a mechanism for tracking and reporting on appraisal projects.
