Training & Performance Support Services

Our Application Client Training Branch develops and provides classroom and computer delivered training, electronic and paper job aids, help systems and multi-media products such as audio and video. Regardless of the medium, classroom instruction or on-line learning, our goal is to provide you with the very best training possible, and specifically designed to meet the needs of your agency and staff.

Our instructors are uniquely qualified to teach customers how to use the applications provided by the NBC. NBC hosted applications include: the Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) used by all levels of management (Requesting Office), by the HR office (Servicing Personnel Office, Security Administrator), and for Time and Attendance input; the Hyperion Query Tool used to build reports from the FPPS data stored in the Datamart, analyze and report on that data; and Quicktime (Employee or Timekeeper based Time and Attendance).

In addition to classroom training, we offer on-site support. Our instructors can meet with you and your staff; provide “hands-on” assistance with the system as they process personnel actions; help identify problem areas and provide suggestions to solve or minimize those problems.

Instruction may be classroom or web based, and can be tailored to include “agency specific” business practices, guidance and policy. All training products and materials are reviewed and updated as necessary.

NBC’s training and performance support products and services include the following:

• Classroom training for NBC administrative systems
• Development of Web-Based Training (WBT) and Computer-Based Training (CBT) products
• Multi-media presentations for demonstrations, briefings, marketing
• Organizational development, including strategic planning, facilitation, process reengineering, etc.
