Finance and Accounting
The National Business Center (NBC) provides finance and accounting cross-servicing to over twenty federal agencies using the Federal Financial System (FFS). More than 3 million transactions, totaling more than $3 billion annually, are processed through the NBC FFS.
FFS is designed expressly for Government accounting, integrated budgeting, and reporting. The American Management Systems, Inc developed and manages the FFS for the NBC.
The NBC provides vendor and travel payment processing services also. These services are currently performed for seven federal agencies.
