Online Request for Information

The NBC developed the first federal government Online Request for Information that was completely web-based. Highlights of this web application include real-time online reporting and analysis for government reviewers and enhanced security to protect proprietary and financial data.

Online Credit Card Payment Processing

This application allowed government employees to pay for products and services with their credit cards online. This web application also records and preserves all the transaction data for review and reporting and the application manager can add, modify, and delete application users and to control user access privileges. The application also allows for custom report building of transaction data. The major benefit of this application is that it saves in processing costs for credit card transactions and it is completely web-based and portable and there is virtually no training required.

Electronic Invoicing and Payment Inquiry

Electronic Commerce for the 21st Century (EC21) is a web-based product develop at the National Business Center to help government agencies and their suppliers save thousands of dollars by greatly reducing invoice-processing costs. EC21 Invoicing allows registered trading partner vendors to submit invoices electronically to the government for payment, through a variety of invoice input methods, such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Web form, Scanned Invoices, and XML. These electronically submitted invoices are then processed within EC21 Invoicing via the Internet and forwarded to the agency's enterprise payment processing system for actual payment. Registered trading partner vendors and government agency users can obtain payment status via the EC21 Invoicing.
